As we were on approach to LAX we circled out over the ocean and landed from the west. As we were out over the water I began to think about my worst fear, and one of the few nightmares I still have. And that fear is drowning. I have the occasional dream about going off of a bridge in a car and wake up holding my breath. Now tomorrow we are taking our flight to Hawaii. 5 hours with no land in sight, to think about it is a little disconcerting.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m sure I will be fine. Just thinking about spending a week on the beach with nothing to do sounds like paradise to me. I don\u2019t know what all is planned for the trip, but I\u2019m gonna take it easy that\u2019s for sure.<\/p>\n
So I went out and bought my lunch tray last night. It\u2019s a little big <giggle> but it\u2019s a way kool laptop. After Kelly and I left the Apple store we went over to Brookstone to check out the Tempurpedic pillows. We picked up a pair of those (one to bring with us on the plane). So it was actually a pretty expensive day.<\/p>\n
We just made it back from Barney\u2019s Beanery in Santa Monica. Justin only live about 2 blocks from 3rd Street Promenade so we walked down there to have a late dinner. Kelly and I will be jet lagged for sure tomorrow when we land in Hawaii, we are already 3 hours ahead of LA and then tack on another two. Yikes!<\/p>\n
OK I guess its time for bed now, we gots to get up pretty early to make it back to LAX to catch our flight out of here, perhaps I will update with some pics while we are in Hawaii.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
