I’m finally done. I finished the last two classes to get my associate’s degree. It’s about time. I should have had it last semester but over the course of going to college, I’ve had to take a whole extra semester of math classes I didn’t get credit for. \ud83d\ude41 I did really good in both of my classes and am relieved this semester is over. It’s sorta sad I won’t be going to PPCC anymore because I’ve gotten used to the system and being able to take online classes. I filled out my online application for UCCS last night. I need to request that my high school and college transcipts be sent over and mail my check. Then the estimated wait time is 2 weeks. I have to go to the PPCC campus tomorrow to return my lab kit and get my loan transferred over to UCCS. I’m gonna ask while I’m there if I can get some extra money taken out on my loan so that I can attend the summer semester at UCCS. I might as well get a start on my classes. The way UCCS has their classes set up, you go everyday at your scheduled time (usually for 3 hours) for 2 weeks. At the end of that time you have completed a 3 credit hour class. Not too bad. Just sucks if you had a lot of papers to write or something. We’ll see how that goes…<\/p>\n
Casey went and played ultimate today while I was at the gym. It was leg-day today so I kept really busy making the rounds to all the machines and then getting on the bike. I was sweating like crazy (might have also been that it was in the 70s today). My legs aren’t hurting yet. I’m hoping there won’t be a repeat of last week’s dibilitating episode. My biceps are a little sore today from yesterday’s workout but it’s bearable. We went tanning today and they are doing referrals now. I could have gotten Casey’s referral and we both could have gotten some good stuff, like extra minutes for mega beds, etc. That sucks! <\/p>\n
Grandma and Grandpa leave tomorrow for 7 weeks in Florida. My aunt Dina is having surgery on her back so they’re gonna help out with the kids so Kenny doesn’t have to take off work. While they’re down there, Grandpa’s gonna try to get some fishing time in with John and bring some yummy seafood back. Mom and Jim are taking them to the airport tomorrow so we’ll probably go over there tomorrow to say our goodbye’s. Hmmm. That’s it for now…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
