Yesterday Randi woke me up at like 9:30 asking if I wanted to go to the mall with her and shop and have lunch. I told her that I did and that Casey was going to come too so he could hang out with Chris and Dallas. Well we got there and we spent about 3 hours looking for the keys to Chris’ mom’s van that Carlee’s carseat was in. We turned Cassie & Dallas’ house upside down and could not find them. Finally, Casey, Chris, and Dallas went to the Dodge dealership to get a new key. Meanwhile Randi, Carlee and I went to Old Navy. Randi picked up a cute shorts outfit for Carlee and I picked up a pair of baby blue terry cloth shorts for working out. We met Casey and Chris back at Randi’s parents house. We hung out and talked for a little bit and then headed off to the Golden Coral, where Randi’s dad treated us to dinner. Lucky us. The food was not so good. I ate as many strawberries and as much dessert as I could have. I’ll hold out for the yummy Vegas buffets. We headed home after dinner instead of playing poker so that Casey could study for a little while.

This morning Casey left early to take his Microsoft test up in Denver. I asked him to lay the phone on the bed in case Randi called. Well, the phone did ring and as soon as I picked it up the person on the other end hung up. I was still so groggy I thought I had hit the wrong button and hung up on them. Well I got up about an hour later and checked caller id and it was Randi. So I called her back and she said she decided after she had already dialed that she didn’t want to wake me up. Oops. I cleaned house this morning and finished up our laundry. Casey called from Denver to say that he passed his test. I guess his studying paid off. I spent most of the afternoon after Casey got back handling stuff educational business. I had to call and e-mail and fill out SO much paperwork. Amongst, the rest of the mail I did get my UCCS acceptance letter. I had to call PPCC too and find out when I was going to be receiving my diploma. The graduation cermeony was about 10 days ago and I hadn’t heard anything. After being transferred to 3 different people, I finally got….voicemail. The chick on the other end was pretty prompt calling back and said I could pick it up on June 6th. She said they don’t mail diplomas because they could get stolen, lost, bent, torn, or any number of things in the mail. Shows a lot of faith with the postal service.

At 5:30 we headed over to Randi’s parents house for Carlee and Ashley’s birthday party. It was a pretty drawn out thing and didn’t end until 10pm but still had a good time at the BBQ. Afterwards, we headed over to my parents house still starving and thirsty. We filled my parents in on everything that’s been going on in the last few days. We have missed 2 days of working out. 🙁 I’m gonna be paying for that one next week.

Now we’re just sitting here catching up on some Howard Stern. They’re finally airing the Miss Buttaface contest. Pretty funny so far with all the hosts being drunk.

Getting up early tomorrow to head out to Dallas & Cassi’s for a BBQ and maybe having Randi and Chris over for dinner.

It has been a very busy week.
