We just got back from Nicky’s where she made a yummy, low cholesterol (well except for the apple pie) meal and we watched Survivor and CSI. I wasn’t too impressed with this preimer especially compared to the last two seasons, hopefully it’ll get better. Casey tried to install a modem in their new computer but for some reason it wasn’t working so we’re going back down there on Saturday to put a new one in. Emily is getting so big and is sweet – she laughs all the time.

The last two days have just been nightmares. After the Alias ordeal yesterday, I expected an easygoing day today. That was not the case. I tried logging into one of my classes while I was at work and for some reason it was no longer showing up. I ended up calling PPCC and asking what the deal was she said she would have to email someone else and find out why “I dropped the class”. She showed “I” dropped it but then said if the instructor dropped me it would say the same thing and maybe he dropped me because I was a “no show”. How could I be a no show when I emailed him when he asked to say I was taking the class, I post to the discussion boards several times a week, and have already taken a test??? So all day she is emailing different people and waiting for them to get back with her and then cc’ing me. Come to find out, the instructor dropped me in error. So after this they contact financial services to see if I’ve paid for my other two classes and I haven’t because I’ve been waiting for my loan to go through that PPCC was supposed to be processing. Well they weren’t gonna add this class back to my schedule till I was paid so I paid off my tuition. Six hours after finding out I was dropped, I’m told it should all be worked out and I can log-in after 10 tomorrow morning. Ugh! What an ordeal!

Then the last two days my allergies have been going crazy. Probably because I’ve run out of medicine and it’s now worse than before because I’m used to not having as severe of symptoms anymore. Instead of just being able to get new prescriptions, I have to go back in because I’m having side effects from the medications the allergist was having me try. I tried calling this morning when I first got into work and I had to leave a message. I still haven’t been called back and I’m all itchy. I’m thinking about switching allergists, especially after seeing she billed my insurance company $700 + lab fees for my initial visit and then my having to pay $11 parking for 45 minutes because the doctors don’t want to pay it. Why not, they can obviously afford it.

Then to make matters even worse. When I got home today there was a statement in the mail from the City of Los Angeles traffic division. It stated that they had sent someone out to review my dispute to our parking ticket from 1-2-04 and it was deemed the sign was visible. Yeah that’s cause it was moved and it’s now 8 months later! So they said I could dispute it again in court or pay $95. Well the original bill was only $45 so after waiting on hold and telling the operator this, they said I was right that since I disputed the original ticket in the given period I only have to pay the original amount. I hate this effin’ city!!!

Casey was a sweetie and did bring me flowers after my hellacious day! So I’m feeling better about stuff now but I’m really looking forward to the weekend.

I guess we’re keeping everyone on their toes (ooh toes, ala Friends for those that remember that episode) with this recent flood of posts.
