I am SO pleased with the results. “Just for kicks” the doctor tested to see if I could read 20/10, yeah not so much maybe a letter or two. It’s not exactly weird being able to see so well, it’s just like I see if I had my contacts in.

The procedure didn’t hurt at all and I doubt the VALIUM had any effect. It was probably just a placebo. I was nervous going in but it wasn’t so bad, the only part that was uncomfortable was the suction cup and then the thing that held my eyes lids open so I didn’t blink. I kept wanting to shut the opposit eye that he wasn’t working on. No pain today just lots of drops which having to take 3 different kinds at different intervals isn’t so much fun but very much worth it.

It’s a good thing Rachel and I had wings on Tuesday because it looks like another week is going to go by without going to the Buffalo Wing Factory with Casey (HINT HINT). He’s getting ready to go with me to CVS (I keep saying Sav-on – still) for some artificial tears and then go to a LAN party. I’ve gotta finish up a project for my PR class then I’ll probably just marvel at my new and improved vision. 😉

Had my post-op appointment today and my vision post-LASIK is…20/15 in both eyes – better than perfect!
