A group of robbers with a hankering for fried chicken and a penchant for crime knocked off a Popeye’s Famous Fried Chicken Thursday night, according to police.<\/p>\n
Three to five men wearing ski masks and black scarves raided the fast-food chicken joint at 3450 Austin Bluffs Parkway shortly before 10 p.m., according to a police report. At least one carried a handgun and another had a knife.<\/p>\n
The men took off with chicken and cash. A search involving police dogs failed to find the men.<\/p>\n
