{"id":1647,"date":"2009-06-01T14:14:03","date_gmt":"2009-06-01T20:14:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/68ba7cb72d.nxcli.net\/?p=1647"},"modified":"2009-06-01T14:14:03","modified_gmt":"2009-06-01T20:14:03","slug":"bang-bang","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/caseyandkelly.com\/?p=1647","title":{"rendered":"Bang bang"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A bulleted post which gets you up to date.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>My dad got pneumonia soon after returning from Florida.\u00a0 We canceled my Grandma&#8217;s trip that was scheduled Memorial Day weekend because he was being treated for the flu and didn&#8217;t find out that it wasn&#8217;t the flu (or swine flu, and thus not contagious) until later.\u00a0 Wouldn&#8217;t have made for the best trip anyway.\u00a0 Including the call to cancel the ticket (and thus retain some credit), three calls have been made to Delta.\u00a0 Sunday, after hours trying to find the most convenient schedule for the least amount of money (Delta&#8217;s change fee is $150), I finally got her new ticket issued.\u00a0 He feels much better now and was back to work last week!<\/li>\n<li>Casey&#8217;s dad visited for Memorial Day weekend.\u00a0 It was his first time seeing Brady and I&#8217;m pretty sure he&#8217;s smitten!\u00a0 It was a quick trip for him but we had a very relaxing time while he was here and for the most part just stayed at home and had a lot of BBQ for our meals.<\/li>\n<li>The 26th was our anniversary &#8211;\u00a0 8 years, 2 dogs, and a baby!<\/li>\n<li>The dogs are still fighting.\u00a0 In the last two weeks Stoli&#8217;s been to the vet once and Dude twice from fight related injuries.\u00a0 Stoli&#8217;s ears have had a lot of gunk in them for about a month now.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been cleaning them and got the gunk cleared\/dried up only to have it come back again.\u00a0 Apparently she had a pretty bad ear infection which we think has resulted in some hearing loss.\u00a0 The vet put her on antibiotics and two different ear washes to hopefully clear up the problem.\u00a0 That part wasn&#8217;t related to the fight but she also had to have a blood pustule in her ear drained because that&#8217;s where Dude attacks first.\u00a0 Her ears are just a mess and full of scar tissue.\u00a0 Dude was seen because Stoli bites Dude&#8217;s tail when they fight and a couple of weeks ago she bit his tail and it left a hole which got infected.\u00a0 The vet ran a blood culture and apparently it turned into a pretty nasty staph infection but with anti-inflamatories and antibiotics things are looking pretty good.\u00a0 The hair growing back on his tail is the least of our worries.\u00a0 We&#8217;re really praying that the infection hasn&#8217;t reached the bone and things stay looking good because a tail amputation was mentioned as a worst case scenario.<\/li>\n<li>Brady&#8217;s been working on sitting up by herself.\u00a0 She can do it for a few seconds unsupported but she leans quite a bit when she does it.\u00a0 Hopefully we can work with her on this and she&#8217;ll be doing it by herself in no time!\u00a0 Off to tummy time&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A bulleted post which gets you up to date.
