Unfortunately it&#8217;s not the happiest of news.  Dude&#8217;s tail is being amputated tomorrow.  The staph infection I wrote about (from the dogs fighting and Stoli biting his tail) has not gone away after 6 weeks of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories.  The vet did an x-ray today and said that where the infection on his tail was, it looked like it had been moth eaten it had gotten so bad.  Because the tail is attached to his spine, it&#8217;s not something we can delay or risk taking any chances with.  We&#8217;re definitely not looking forward to our boy losing his tail or the bill that will come along with it. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well I finally have something post worthy to write about.
