Ugh.<\/p>\n

James and I were bamboozled into coming into the office this morning. We stopped at Dunkin’ Donuts for a coffee and now we are getting ready to walk up the hill to the Data Center to reconfigure some MSAs (external drive arrays), and yell at some folks for being lazy on a cabling issue we are having. Also the pair of mailbox servers we were shipped had 24GB of RAM installed in them and we need to cull that down to 4GB, since we aren’t running a 64-bit OS yet.<\/p>\n

Hopefully we get our TiVo HD in the mail this week. I’m thinking about hacking it as soon as we get it, but I think I only have a 300GB SATA drive at home, so that would only add about 50 more hours of SD footage for about 5 more hours of HD (although I’m not certain on the conversion). I also need to contact Comcast and find out how much the package + 2 cable cards is going to run me. I’m not looking forward to the increased cable bill, but I do love TiVo a great deal, and being able to record two shows in HD is going to be great. <\/p>\n
