I ran my first 5k today. \u00a0I don’t necessarily know it’s my first ever but I’m pretty sure it is. \u00a0And in all honesty, it was probably 50% run 50% walk. \u00a0My time ended up being 44 minutes which I don’t think is that great. \u00a0Apparently those that are running in timed (chipped) 5k’s want 12 minute miles. \u00a0Boo, still too slow for that. \u00a0But this is only the third time I’ve run in 2011 and the third since September and I wasn’t too great then either. \u00a0And definitely wasn’t going that far.<\/p>\n

I did better today and didn’t have any hives. \u00a0I guess the Claritin we’ve started taking before bed is helping. \u00a0Which reminds me I should probably order some more off of Amazon so I don’t have any excuses not to run. \u00a0Off to bed now…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
