After months of applying and interviewing for virtually everything, I *finally* have a job! I was hired by Memorial Health System as a Buyer. Yesterday was my first official day which I spent in orientation. Today, I was in a Lotus Notes training class during the morning and then spent some time meeting the rest of the purchasing department and other finance. I kind of spent today training but it was a lot of just being shown screens and where to look for things and not so much actually hands on type stuff. The training period is estimated to be 4-6 weeks but could be longer depending on my comfort with everything.
