\u00a0I feel so old saying things like that. \u00a0Growing up, I used to hear adults say that time goes by so fast and not wish for it to move any faster because it&#8217;ll be here before you know it. \u00a0I didn&#8217;t believe them at the time. \u00a0I wanted to skip the boring stuff and get right to the good, grown up stuff. \u00a0Now that I&#8217;m here, I know exactly what all of those people were talking about. \u00a0So here we in March and I&#8217;m just baffled two months of the year have already come and gone.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;\">To keep myself accountable for my resolutions, I&#8217;m going to do a monthly progress report. \u00a0I read something during the holidays that the best way to write up resolutions (or goals, if you don&#8217;t like the word resolution) is to split it up into four parts &#8211;\u00a0personal,\u00a0family,\u00a0home, and\u00a0finances. \u00a0Here&#8217;s how I&#8217;m doing on my resolutions three months later.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;\">PERSONAL<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li><em><s>Run a 5k<\/s><\/em><s>. \u00a0Done!\u00a0<\/s><\/li>\n<li><em>Stop biting my nails.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0Fail &#8211; I haven&#8217;t even tried.<\/li>\n<li><em>Make my blog successful and start hosting giveaways.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0I think the making my blog successful part will always be a work in progress. \u00a0I&#8217;m kind of baffled by all of the giveaways I have already hosted and have planned &#8211; exciting stuff!<\/li>\n<li><em>Win more giveaways. \u00a0<\/em>This one isn&#8217;t working out so well. \u00a0I won way more\u00a0giveaways\u00a0in December than January and February when I did my\u00a0Giveaway Challenge\u00a0combined. \u00a0Entering giveaways takes a lot of work but you definitely get rewarded!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;\">FAMILY<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li><em>Potty train Cakes.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0I haven&#8217;t even started. \u00a0She&#8217;s still really only interested in standing in her potty or wearing it on her head. \u00a0I&#8217;m not entirely sure she&#8217;s ready but it&#8217;s still a goal.<\/li>\n<li><em>Get pregnant again and have a full-term fatty.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0This is still a work in progress too. \u00a0I *finally* got my blood work results back and all is well. \u00a0No red flags were found.<\/li>\n<li><em>Plan at least one vacation.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0Dates still haven&#8217;t been decided but we talk about our beach vacation all the time, so I don&#8217;t think we&#8217;ll be backing out of this one.<\/li>\n<li><em>Socialize more.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0We actually socialized quite a bit more than I originally thought. \u00a0We went to a monthly dinner with about a dozen friends and their kids, a baby shower, and another party last Saturday. \u00a0Good times! \u00a0This is definitely an ongoing thing for a couple of introverted homebodies!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;\">HOME<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li><em>Stick to a cleaning schedule.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0I was so not consistent with this one in February. \u00a0I need to get back into it though. \u00a0The weather is starting to warm up and the bugs are out.<\/li>\n<li><em>Stain the fence.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0Tax refund money has been deposited, now just waiting on my husband to get some time off from work.<\/li>\n<li><em>Get gutters installed.\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0I need to start getting estimates on this one. \u00a0I&#8217;d really like my husband to be here when they&#8217;re done though, so that might take some planning.<\/li>\n<li><em>Fence the entire property.\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0Again, this has to wait until my husband schedules some time off. \u00a0He&#8217;s getting ready to hit the cap for his PTO (again, he hit it in December too) so hopefully these will be checked off next month.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;\">FINANCES<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li><em><s>Purchase a new to us\u00a0<\/s><s>car<\/s><s>.<\/s><\/em><s>\u00a0\u00a0Done!\u00a0<\/s><\/li>\n<li><em>Pay off car as quickly as possible.\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0We&#8217;ve decided not to pay it off as quickly as possible since we&#8217;ll be using our tax refund to do some things around the house. \u00a0It&#8217;s not paid off yet but I did make five months worth of payments in February so we&#8217;re a little ahead of the game.<\/li>\n<li><em>Get all legal wills and documents in place.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0They&#8217;re all printed and ready to be notarized but are still in the envelope.<\/li>\n<li><em><s>Open Cakes a 529.<\/s><\/em><s>\u00a0\u00a0Done!\u00a0<\/s><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;\">Did you make New Year&#8217;s resolutions?
