Since Thursday the weather here has been unseasonably cold, even for Colorado.\u00c2\u00a0 We’ve had rain on and off with temperatures ranging from the 40s at night to mid-60s during the day.\u00c2\u00a0 Friday was only 52 degrees and quite cold.\u00c2\u00a0 There was even a little snow at the very top of Pikes Peak this morning.\u00c2\u00a0 We had initally thought that the crazy weather was a result of tropical storms on both coasts, but it seems that there was a high pressure front from Wyoming that moved in.\u00c2\u00a0 While I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to summer, I’m sure we’ll be thankful when we get our utility bill for this month.\u00c2\u00a0 I also noticed yesterday for the first time, that it’s also starting to get darker earlier.\u00c2\u00a0 The last of the schools around here are starting this week and I think fall is officially upon us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
