Today I’m exactly 24 weeks which means this pregnancy has hit viability.\u00c2\u00a0 24 weeks is considered viability because if the baby were born as early as today, she would have a 40% chance of survival.\u00c2\u00a0 Obviously this is *not* what I want but it’s a relief to know I’ve hit a milestone and that NICU’s are advanced enough to sustain life from this extremely premature stage (babies born this early are sometimes referred to as micro-preemies).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
