It’s such a relief that all of this election mess is finally over.\u00c2\u00a0 It’ll be nice not to see the streets and yards littered with political signs and be able to watch TV without slanderous ads coming on at every break.\u00c2\u00a0 We were glued to CNN last night from 4:30-10:30 watching all of the election coverage and the votes coming in.\u00c2\u00a0 I even dreamed about the election coverage later that night, another reason I’m glad it’s over.\u00c2\u00a0 Dreams like those aren’t so much fun.\u00c2\u00a0 I cried at both McCain and Obama’s speeches and I have to say I am excited for the change that I hope Obama can bring to our country.\u00c2\u00a0 And President Elect Obama – you have 90 dyas to get this housing crisis under control after you get into office.\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve got a house to sell.<\/p>\n
I am disappointed in Californians for what looks like Prop 8 getting approved.\u00c2\u00a0 I know that absentee votes are still being counted but from the early predictions it looks like it’s going to pass.\u00c2\u00a0 Let’s hope there are a lot of “no” votes yet to be counted.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m pretty shocked that Californians are so intolerant with as liberal of a state as it is.\u00c2\u00a0 One form of discrimination has ended while another continues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
