Had a pretty busy day today. We ended up rolling out of here at about 8:15 this morning, cause the hardware had already been delivered to the site. So after probably about 45 minutes of driving in circles trying to find the site, we managed to stuble upon it. We probably passed Texas Stadium (Dallas Cowboys) 5 times trying to find the site. No Joke.<\/p>\n
We broke down all the hardware and prepared the racks (all three of them). We ended up installing 5 Dell 6450 (Quad-Xeon Servers), 3 Dell 2550 (Dual-Xeon Servers), 5 UPS, a StorageTek L80, a Sun Sunfire 280R, and then a SAN cabinet with 27 36GB 10,000 RPM SCSI (972GB) drives. So it was quite a bit of hardware. We just got back here at 6:40 (CST).<\/p>\n
Charlie and Soo went to go get some grub, but I wasnt’ feeling like eating right now. I may wait a little while before eating, or now eat at all I haven’t decided yet.<\/p>\n
OH MY GOD, a bottle of of Absolut Vodka is 95 dollars. Can you believe that? How do they get away with charging so much?<\/p>\n
