How did it get this cold? Weather.com is reporting that it feels like 35 outside. Yesterday I was wearing shorts for most of the day, and then tomorrow its supposed to be almost 60 again. Someone is keeping me from BBQing! But I’m still going to cook some strip steaks this evening. I have them marinating right now in the fridge. So we are going to head over to Kelly’s folks house here in a bit so I can throw them on the grill.<\/p>\n
I still can’t figure out how to mount my External USB 2.0 HDD to my Mandrake 9.1 desktop machine. It shows up as \/dev\/sda1 but when I try to mount it I get an error telling me that I have a bad block or to many filesystems mounted, or something like that. I have tried messing with the setting in \/etc\/fstab, and \/etc\/mtab but no luck so far. I may just hook it to my PVR which is still running XP and try to share it out that way over Samba.<\/p>\n
For some reason my laptop kept getting a BSOD last night while Kelly was playing some Java games on it. I couldn’t get her Powerbook to load the games in IE or Safari. I upgraded the Java packages on the Powerbook to 1.4.1 also, and that didn’t help either.
