Just sittin’ around watching Shanghai Knights that Casey downloaded. It’s pretty lame so far, not very many laughs. I think the first one was a lot better. Good thing we didn’t have to pay for it. Earlier we watched The Mask, which we purchased on DVD yesterday along with Never Been Kissed, and the Young Guns Special Edition. Nothing else is on sale this week so other than the 2 DVDs that I have in the mail (Jawbreaker and Pilates for Dummies (not a movie)) we probably won’t be buying any others. Earlier today we went to the commissary to pick up some supplemental groceries. We still have a lot of meat left from the last time we went so we didn’t need to buy a whole lot.
I was looking into Governor’s State University in Illinois because they have an online AA degree program. I saw it advertised on a flyer at PPCC and found out it is accredited. The only thing is they have responded to my e-mail so I have a lot of unanswered questions and you have to take tests with an outside proctor such as an instructor. Well if you’re going to THEIR college, how do you expect an outside instructor to be like ok, I’ll facilitate your test. That doesn’t sound right. Oh, and you can only take 2 classes a semester. That would take you FOREVER to finish at that rate. I’ll keep looking into it but for now am just going to go to UCCS.
For those of you Real World fans that didn’t know this…The Real World in Paris premiers on Tuesday night at 8pm on MTV! I’m hoping for another good season. I think the 3rd season of the Osbournes begins on the 10th, check your local guide for exact times and dates.
We went over to my parents’ house last night for a tasty dinner. Casey grilled blackened red snapper (yummy) that was very spicy and Mom made home fries. Mom and Jim went to the liquor store yesterday and picked up the ingredients for Jimmy Buffet’s Ultimate Margarita. It was SO good. The tequila was very smooth and we didn’t realize how much we had drank for awhile. I didn’t wake up with a hangover this morning so that’s a relief. Lots of water, pirin tablets, and chips before bed. Happy 1st Birthday to Carlee Suzann Kearse!!!Randi, Chris, and Carlee get here on Tuesday (hopefully early)!!! I am SO excited. I haven’t seen Randi in like 6 months. We are going to have SO much fun. She wants to go shopping since she doesn’t have any decent stores in her podunk town. I can always go shopping! Not much else going on this week. I think Jim may start joining us for workouts too. That’s it for now….
