We’re all set to leave for L.A. tonight and on to Hawaii early tomorrow. Casey and I didn’t start getting excited until this week now we can’t wait. We’re both going to miss Stoli and actually contemplated taking her along but they have a 5 day quarantine and I think that’d probably be pretty traumatic for her so she’s going down to Auntie Rachel’s around noon. I know I shouldn’t worry because she’ll be well taken care of but she’s like a child to us!
School is kicking my butt this semester! I’ve already said several times how much harder this is taking 15 credits (5 classes) than it was taking 21 credits (7 classes) and that was actually going TO school everyday. I guess they figure since they can’t take attendance or keep track of you they need to multiple your course load by 50 to make up for it. This is going to be quite the degree program if it’s already starting out like this. After this semester I’ll only have 19 credits left but the max you can take through CSU is only 15 so I’m gonna pace myself and split up the last two semester (too bad there’s no summer classes). Through CSU I’m graduating 4 semesters (original graduation Dec. 2004) later (May 2006). Well at least it’ll be done! Alison and Marla are both doing Master’s programs but I think I’ll give it awhile before delving back into THAT again – give Casey a chance to catch up!
