I can’t say we have a lot to say right now. Casey’s been working lots of overtime this week and I’ve been applying for part-time jobs that will afford me the capability of taying home with Stoli for long periods of time or places she can with me too – nothing yet though. At the urgence of my professors, I’ve submitted some of my writing to magazines for pieces so we’ll have to see if anyone accpets, that’d be a nice way to supplement and build up a down payment. Especially since Casey would be able to set his mind at ease that I’m at home with Stloli and that nothing will happen to her and I’m here if the A/C were to give out. We put in a contract for a house on Sunday and found out today we got it but the seller ended up wanting revised terms so we turned down the revised terms and backed out of the contract so here’s hoping we can stay in the same place or find something else by the end of this month.
Good news is that we got the rest of our insurance money from receipts we returned showing that we had purchased items that we had stolen and ended up paying more. Well at least that’s money towards a house. I’m getting really fed up already wiht this whole house thing. We had to *bid* on the house and our *bid* ended up being $25K more than they were asking which is more than we thought we offered but whatever, you get the picture and someone was already waiting to take over the offer if we backed out. Ugh, we need a more affordable market, i’m already bored – and really sweaty (it’s a swampy aka humid 90 degrees).
