A day late

Brady had another synagis (RSV) shots yesterday. Her dose is based on her weight so it’s fun for us that we get to see how much she weighs. Before the nurse arrived, Casey guessed 10 pounds 7 ounces and I guessed 10 pounds 5 ounces. Casey was exactly right – Brady is now 10 pounds 7 ounces! She’s officially heavier than a sack of potatoes. Our insurance has approved Brady for one more RSV shot this season but the nurse that administers the shot is letting the pediatrician make the final call on the necessity of it since April 30th is considered the end of RSV season in this area.

Last Friday Brady was put on a new medication for her reflux. So far the new meds (a Prilosec liquid compound) have already made a noticeable difference. I still have concerns that something in my diet might be exacerbating the reflux but I have yet to make a final decision on that.
