Our impromptu vacation last week to Austin, San Antonio, and Kansas City ended up being quite successful! Casey was asked to interview for a company based in San Antonio (but the position would be in Austin) which is what spawned the trip. Since Casey was heading down to Texas anyway and we hadn’t had a vacation in awhile, we decided to pack up the car and make the most of the trip visiting with friends in Texas and family in Kansas City. Casey’s interview was originally supposed to be for 2 positions (1 in Austin for 2 hours and the one in San Antonio for an hour) but he ended up only interviewing for the position in Austin for 4 hours and received a job offer on Thursday! We’re busy getting the house cleaned and last minute updates done before hopefully getting it listed early next week! So the big news in our life is that we’re ATX bound (hopefully to soon be joined by the rest of the fam)!
