We got a Wii

After looking online for a Wii, of course with no luck, we finally started hunting around town.  We went to the Wal-Mart in Falcon on Saturday morning with no luck.  That night, I looked at the ads online and Target and Circuit City both had Wiis in their ads.  We opted for Target since they open two hours earlier.  We got there 15 minutes early and there were already people waiting in line.  They had several Wiis available so we were able to pick one of those up but no luck with a Wii Fit.  That would have been too easy.  So we went to breakfast since we had time to kill before Circuit City opened.  We were sitting in the FX out front for about 25 minutes (still had 35 minutes till they opened) and an employee came out.  He walked over and asked if we were looking for a Wii or Guitar Hero for the Wii because they did have both in stock but no Wii Fits.  So we drove over to Best Buy and waited in line there till they opened, no Wii Fits either.  Boooo!  I can’t get to the site that the Sunday ads are posted early at work, so hopefully when I get home I’ll be pleasantly surprised and the Wii Fits will be in *someone’s* ad.

We played Wii Sports on Sunday for a little bit but the controller takes some getting used to.  It wasn’t until the next time I tried playing, that I realized there were training exercises for each sport.  I do the best at bowling, averagish at baseball, I’m tied for worst on golfing and tennis, and haven’t tried boxing yet because I’ve been too lazy to tether the controllers together.  Now three days later and I’m not as sore as I was (I was trying to use the controller like actual bats, rackets, clubs, etc) I’m going to try my hand at it again.  Now the only thing I need to do is find our Wii ID so our friends’ Miis can come and mingle with us at events.
