Wednesday I had off for flexing again. My boss agreed last week that I could work 4 – 9 hour shifts during pay periods that we’re flexing and then I could have both Wednesdays off. I had asked about this a month ago when we first started but apparently it was confusing for her and she said no, even though she was letting other people do exactly what I was asking. It sucks getting up at 5:15 but having every Wednesday off with Casey is definitely worth it. Even though everyone else makes someone else cover for them when they’re off or flexing, I haven’t been. It’s just easier to change my voicemail and email and deal with it all when I come back. Even with being off it doesn’t take too long considering to get things back in order.Â
So Wednesday I was very productive. I managed to deep clean the kitchen, clean the powder room, and reogranize the chaos of the basement. We went looking for something down there several months ago and I never put stuff back. Then in August when we went camping, it got even more messy but now it’s all orderly. Unfortunately, in a little over a month it’s going to be a mess again when we get the Christmas decorations out.
