We took Dude to the vet this morning for his annual exam. Stoli was shaking she was so upset when she figured out that Dude was going and she wasn’t (he had his harness on and she didn’t). So although Casey wasn’t originally going to go with us, ended up sitting in the car for a half hour reading his book so Stoli could go for a ride. He said she cried and snorted when we left the car. Aw! The appointment was pretty uneventful (thank God) and everything is looking good for the boy. He weighs 72 pounds now. Still a lot but down 8 pounds from 6 months ago when he was on steroids for his eyes. His eyes are still looking good, although a bit weepy, which won’t go away. Dude was so distracted by the treat the tech was holding in front of his face, he didn’t feel either shot and probably would have stood there for more.
