All I want to do right now is spend money.  I want a HD DVD drive for the Xbox 360, a new TV, new camera etc etc.  Amazon has a deal right now for the HD DVD drive for Xbox for $130 dollars with 5 free DVDs, the selection of DVDs is kinda shitty but we could probably sell em on Ebay and make a little cash, and you won’t find a cheaper HD DVD drive.  I have also been told that you can hook up the Xbox 360 HD DVD drive to any PC and use it there.

We also picked up an HD TiVo to upgrade our aging unit, the price was right and we are in dire need of a dual tuner unit, and Lifetime Service to boot.  So I’m excited about that.

We have yet to really dig into the server builds, hopefully tomorrow we will begin the actual software installs and configurations, as currently we only have the base OS install on most of the boxes.  We can probably wrap most of the work up by Friday though.  I’m actually kind of pissed about this whole deal as we have been waiting on the Data Center folks to cable some servers up, and it appears that they (once again) may either forgotten  to cable a server or have it cabled incorrectly.  So I will probably shoot over there early in the morning that way when James gets up and around we can knock all of that stuff out rather quickly.

I have been playing Assasin’s Creed, all I can say is “WOW”.  What an incredible game.  The level of detail in the game is just amazing and the gameplay is quite good.  My only complaint is the controls.  A little awkward but I’m getting used to them and its totally worth a little annoyance for the overall game.  Buy it now.

When you watch the trailer you think, “ahhh that is rendered crap, not actual in game footage”, but you are wrong my friend the game looks VERY close to that.  Buy it, buy it, buy it.

Ok its 55 degrees outside and I’m going to go grill some chicken for dinner.  mmmmmmmmm.
