Justin and I got this poster from an FBI agent while we were in Florida last year. Its pretty damn funny. We used to have it on our refrigerator, but I don’t think its up anymore. Enjoy!

I put up some pics that Kelly and I took today of Caylie.
After we got done at the gym today, and swinging by Target we went down to Memorial Hospital to visit with Kevin and Rachel and Caylie. Everyone is doing good, and Rachel and Caylie will be going home tomorrow.
Not much else going on today. This is the third day in a row that we have done a whole hour of cardio. We didn’t do any weight training today as my triceps are kinda sore today and I didn’t want to make them worse. But tomorrow we will do both weights and cardio.
We really need to get a 512MB stick of PC2100 DDR for the Powerbook. iPhoto takes forever to load up all the photos. It was driving me crazy today when I was trying to import photos from the camera.
I don’t know anything else.
Congratulations to Kevin and Rachel on the birth of their daughter, Caylie Madeline Wallace. She arrived this evening at 7:23pm at 6lbs 11oz. That’s all the information that we have for now. It seems that mom and baby are both doing well. We’re planning on dropping by tomorrow to visit the expanded family.
Got woke up this morning by the FedEx guy. We didn’t know what he was delivering but it was our $30 gift certificate from Aafes. Shopping ain’t a bad way to earn extra money or gift certificates. Casey and I decided to start doing cardio everyday and weights at least 3 times a week. We worked out today for a total of 2 hours and it felt great. We didn’t get out of the gym until noon so we had quite the crowd and line at the commissary. We picked up a ton of groceries today and it was cheaper than we expected. That’s a nice bonus. We came home, had lunch, and then went to the Sun Spot where Casey signed up for a tanning membership so we’ll both be tan. There was a new Smallville on tonight that was pretty good but predictible. Casey always says, “That was a good episode” after every episode. There are NO bad Smallville episodes for him. After 3 months of reruns, they are finally going to show 6 new episodes. Now we’re just sitting here watching ‘Blow.’ We’re down to 2 DVDs left to watch. Casey also downloaded Two Weeks Notice and Final Destination 2. We’ll probably watch those tomorrow. That’s all for now…
I finally managed to hack PHPNuke to get the proper timestamp on news stories. The bad thing is that instead of using a global $datetime function for every page it changes to different things thru the code. But the main page is all that people really look at anyway so it doesn’t really matter.
We got back from the gym about an hour ago. We stopped by Subway on the way home to score a couple of 6-inch subs for lunch. I’m hoping that Mike gives me a call later with news of some Ultimate for this week. I will have to dig under the bed and see if I can find my cleats.
I updated Kelly’s Powerbook with Safari Public Beta 2 this morning. There have been two good updates in the last 7 days (10.2.5, and Safari) So they included tabbed browsing and a good Autofill feature to Safari. Personally I love tabbed browsing, Mozilla is great its just getting thick like IE. I haven’t tried Phoenix yet, and I don’t even know if you can still download it. But I did read on the Mozilla site that they are going to put aside the current mozilla tree and start working on the Phoenix code. So maybe it will get a little faster.
I need to start working on my expense report sometime today and get that sent in so I can get my money. I recieved an email today that one of the head guys on our project died of a heart attack on Saturday. He was probably going crazy cause everyone is still sitting on their asses and not working, and now this project is WAY over budget.
Not much else going on today.
Here is a quick link to a site that Dave sent me earlier. Its about a few guys who go to an Anti-War protest in San Francisco, and try to inject a dose of reality into protestors lives.
I finally got ahold of the new Matrix Reloaded Trailer. I took about 50 screenshots for those of you who haven’t seen it yet. If you keep clicking on the image it will increase the image size until it gets to the original size. So you could use the high res shots for a desktop wallpaper. Also check out the slideshow option for a neat effect.
I was doing some looking on Google to see where we were ranked. I did a simple search for “Casey Kelly” to see what came up. Finally on page 27 Kevin’s page came up. Three pages later on page 30 our page came up. Very strange.
We watched both Harry Potter movies yesterday at Kelly’s folks house, Jim hadn’t seen either one of them. I think he liked them a lot.
I’m still looking for a Chatbox block for PHPNuke. All that I can seem to find is IRC or Java chat addons. GRRRRR.
The trip to Texas went well. It only took two days to finish. We ended up being short some parts so it wasn’t quite done. So whoever goes back to finish the sites will have to finish some of the installation.
I’m trying to find the new trailer to the Matrix. They showed it during Anger Management on Friday night, and I have to watch two or three more times so I can take it apart. The new characters look great and the special effects are going to be revolutionary once again. I can’t wait.
Here’s a weekend update since I haven’t posted recently. Friday, I went to the gym and tanned by myself. Then I went to the airport and picked Casey up. His flight said it was supposed to be in early but didn’t show up until about 15 minutes after the original arrival time. But he got her OK and that’s all that matters. After dropping his bags off at home, we went and picked up tickets to Anger Management. The only show they still had tickets to was the 10:40 so it was a good thing we picked up tickets before going to dinner. We had a tasty dinner at Red Robin and then brought some Cold Stone into the theater with us. Yummy! Although, I wasn’t able to eat all of my ice cream because I was SO full from dinner. Before it started, this other couple sat one seat empty away from us. Well some dipshit decides out of all the seats available to take that one. Ugh. The man laughed like a little girl and was narrating the whole thing. We keep getting stuck around people that can’t stop talking through the entire thing. If you have thoughts as to how the movie will turn out, KEEP THEM TO YOURSELF. Anger Management was really funny. I was really impressed with all the cameos (ie. Woody Harrelson, Derek Jeter, Rudy Giuliani). I would recommend this movie for you to go see!
Yesterday we went to my parents house to BBQ. Casey grilled brats, potato salad, big pickles, and woodchuck cider. After dinner we watched both Harry Potter movies, which was over 5 hours of viewing pleasure. Then we headed home watched Howard Stern and went to bed.
Now, we’re just sitting here, finished eating breakfast and are watching Mary Poppins. Which Casey has never seen before. He had such a deprived childhood. Back to the movie…
Still trying to find my flight information. We are done and anxious to get out of TX. I’m hoping to grab an earlier flight out of here then the 5ish one that I think I have scheduled. So as soon as we get work of our flight times we will be out of here.
Had a pretty busy day today. We ended up rolling out of here at about 8:15 this morning, cause the hardware had already been delivered to the site. So after probably about 45 minutes of driving in circles trying to find the site, we managed to stuble upon it. We probably passed Texas Stadium (Dallas Cowboys) 5 times trying to find the site. No Joke.
We broke down all the hardware and prepared the racks (all three of them). We ended up installing 5 Dell 6450 (Quad-Xeon Servers), 3 Dell 2550 (Dual-Xeon Servers), 5 UPS, a StorageTek L80, a Sun Sunfire 280R, and then a SAN cabinet with 27 36GB 10,000 RPM SCSI (972GB) drives. So it was quite a bit of hardware. We just got back here at 6:40 (CST).
Charlie and Soo went to go get some grub, but I wasnt’ feeling like eating right now. I may wait a little while before eating, or now eat at all I haven’t decided yet.
OH MY GOD, a bottle of of Absolut Vodka is 95 dollars. Can you believe that? How do they get away with charging so much?
Oh and by the way I hate AOL.
